WHAT WAS NEWS IN 2004

Oct 2004

Basic site maintenance.

Aug 2004

Been working hard porting my code from PHP to ASP.NET with C# code-behind. Most of the site has been moved over, still a few rogue PHP pages awaiting a re-write though.

Aug 2004

The Hobo Boxing hi-score table is back up and running after some brief downtime due to my hosting transfer.

Aug 2004

The Guest Book is back up and running fully after some brief downtime due to my hosting transfer.

Jul 2004

This month I changed hosting for mrceri.co.uk. I'm still with the same company (the excellent SupaNames), but I've moved from their Linux hosting to their Windows hosting. This won't mean much to most of you, but it will allow me to use my .NET skills to add a lot more interactive content to the site, and hopefully make things a bit more interesting!

In the meantime though, there may be a bit of disruption while the site is moved to the new server, but hopefully all the pages and programs will be accessible throughout. If you spot any problems, I'd really appreciate it if you let me know so I can fix them ASAP. Cheers!

Jun 2004

Site text update.

Jun 2004

Added new page, "About You". Originally I just wanted a way to check what my public facing IP address was (when behind NAT at work), but thought others might find it interesting to see what information they routinely present to web servers they visit.

Jan 2004

Update to the Tax Calculator page.

Jan 2004

Salary Timer Version 3.3 released.

Jan 2004

General site maintenance.

Jan 2004

Bought myself a new toy - a Pocket PC (a Dell Axim X3 for the geeks out there). So expect some Pocket PC versions of my apps to be released in the not too distant future...

Jan 2004

Removed mailing list form from site - figured I'm probably not going to send out any mass-mails in the near future for fear of spam-cops swooping through my window in the middle of the night and dragging me off for prodding and probing.

Jan 2004

Updated links page.
